Derby Forest School

Located at various locations in and around Derby, Tree Tots stay and play sessions offer an hour and a half of forest school fun for parents and carers to enjoy with their little ones.

Run by fully qualified Forest School leaders, Derby Forest School’s stay and play sessions are loosely based on a different theme each week. The leader will create a potential plan but the unique child-centred ethos of Forest school means that children will be encouraged to follow their own interests and the role of adults will be to facilitate this.

Regular experiences are likely to include playing in the mud kitchen, creating works of art using natural materials, singing around the camp fire, making dens and playing games, feel free to bring a snack to eat during story time.
