Cookery Workshops for children ages 18 months +
Bexley School of Cookery workshops cater for all ages and abilities. The Toddler/Preschooler workshops are suitable for ages 18 months -5 years, are a parent/carer and child session and run on a Monday afternoon during term time.
Toddlers learn and develop through creative activities like cooking. Experiencing, discovering and experimenting are the most important parts of toddler creative activities. Encourage toddlers by letting them lead creative activities, giving them time and space, and praising them.
Their cookery workshops are designed to keep your child engaged, whilst learning how to safely use age appropriate equipment and create an array of nutritious and balanced meals. They provide the perfect environment for children to learn and practise new skills.
Bexley School of Cookery workshops provide a relaxed environment where children have opportunities to explore tastes, smells and textures. Many parents have been amazed at which foods their little ones have tried whilst attending our workshops. You will find our workshops to have a laidback environment where children are encouraged to explore what a food looks, smells, feels and tastes like. There is never any pressure for a child to try anything that they don’t want to, but they do find that sitting and working alongside their peers has had a very positive effect on potentially exploring new foods.
